Always been a wagon fan in general, fast or slow.

Preferably fast off course . I still own a 2007 Audi A4 diesel that actually still drives like when it was new. But honestly my preference goes out to the 'shooting break' kind of car, my 120d came pretty close and it was pretty fast for a 190 hp car. The

For me…

It was this one - a B5 Audi A4: Picture from: BF Automotive In exactly this color. Was a family car, got it with 36k km, the engine blew at 72k km less than a year later, ironically at a traffic light right in front of an Audi dealership. It gets better -

2007 Audi A4 Avant 2.0Tdi - 136 hp Multitronic.

Bought it in 2007 and still have it in the fleet, doing around 3.000 km per year . Yesterday I took it out for a drive and tried to accelerate fast ... went into limp mode. The car ow has a bit over 200.000 km and it never missed a beat or had any issues.

Interesting!

Good to know! I've never driven a Golf GTI. Maybe next time I'm in Europe I'll see if I can get a GTI as a rental. The last time I got an Audi A4 as a rental. Was not particularly pleased with that car - very boring to drive - and it was a FWD version. Bu

I owned and still own a few dieselcars.

I still have my 2007 Audi A4 2.0 diesel with 136 hp and 320 Nm as well as a 2018. Renault Trafic Van 1.6 diesel with 125 hp and 320 Nm like the Audi but pushed out of a 1600 cc. Amazingly this tiny engine pushes that van like it’s peanuts 😀. Yup diesel en

Heart will say Alfa, head will likely say.....

......anything but an Alfa. Then again, if you've never had an Alfa then you can't be a serious petrol head ;-) There's a time in your life that will want one for sure. My 156 cloverleaf was an absolute joy to drive with its free revving engine and bags o
